How many times have we seen Brit fighters wilt when they step up like this.

Sam Noakes is having none of it.

Noaks wins the 11th to put him within a a possible chance at a draw or even a win (unlikely but within reason ifhe can get the 12th)

Amazingly I thought Noakes won that 11th round. What guts from this kid. He's well behind, but certainly has shown the grit to let him fight this 12th round.

He doesn't have the snap on his punch now to get the KO it seems, but he's undoubtedly going to keep trying.

Great fight.

A close fight, but Mason is maybe just too classy but awesome fight.

What a pair of superstars, beautiful brutality indeed.
The only questions we had about Abdullah Mason was his chin. Well he’s answered that one alright

117-111 Abdullah Mason

Could be 116-112, or 115-113, but Mason is certainly the winner. Nevertheless, so much respect for Noakes and the effort he gave. He fought his heart out in there, and pushed Mason every step of the way. Great fight.

Mason definitely won but he’ll be sore in the morning.

On top of the effort, Noakes was so crafty at time when hurt. What a warrior.

I feel like Mason is something of a Broner. No hard feelings towards him at all but he’ll have his Maidana night coming I suspect.

He’s still very young yet.

Let’s see.

At least he fights with full sincerity, and doesn't showboat or clown in there. That's something he's got over Broner even if the talent level ultimately winds up being the same.

That seriousness couldn't hurt really. Could help him eke out some close rounds than an idiot like Broner would've given away with clowning.

Incredible fight I've got it a draw 114-114, strange because Mason hurt Noakes several times in the fight but couldn't put him down, he's rapid Mason, lightening quick, dangerous at long and mid range, as I say hurt Noakes to the head and body, Noakes is a tough, hard bastard, never stopped trying to get on top and did at times, his constant pressure and the lead right hands worked well against the southpaw Mason, Noakes had a cut early he had to deal with as well but didn't let it bother him, wish he'd have targeted the body more though, tried to slow Mason down, Mason showing he can go 12 though hurt Noakes late and probably deserved it tbh

Even with the loss there, I think it's safe to say Noakes comes out of that fight a bigger star than he was going into it. Certainly nothing that's going to lower anyone's opinion of him.

Absolutely he will.
To get turkey man off of his seat takes some doing.
Brilliant effort from Noakes but the other lad had too much.
The 117-111 card is shocking, so is that Coppingdur fella.

Yeah I only mean his boxing style (aside from the inscesent tongue sticking out which always winds me up).

We’ll do well to see another melt quite like Broner.

If any fight can keep up with that last fight pace wise on this card. It's going to be this one.
