Gavazi looked all right on YT - strong, game, power (at a level), looked better than Cameron imo.
but Quitz seems to have 'clicked' a bit - done what an OSM fighter with special speed should do.
2 in a row, maybe he'll get to the top after all.....? :maybe:
Not sure, the fight I watched, he kept leaning over the front foot. Whittaker took full advantage. No messing about.

He defo faked out Cam 1 - we all know it.

But, two quick wins and Andy Lee guiding...
LOTS to work on and prove after Cam 1, but for now he's totally back on track...

Two quick wins are great, but Whitaker still needs to come out of the other end of a gut check though doesn’t he.

yeah exactly.
We'll always have doubts until he proves otherwise.

And he's going NOWHERE NEAR Lyndon Arthur or Dan Azeez anytime soon...

Just looking through the UK Light Heavy's & there's a kid from Stoke called Kyle Davies, 24 years old, 11(7)-0.

Anyone have any extra info on him?

Aside from Whittaker & Hutchinson all the others are deep into their 30's.

Have you seen his last few fights, he's an old man with verry little left.

Yeah I guess so.
Azeez would probably be perfect then - his whole game is built on not being washed - good name on the record.
But Arthur ?! Team Quitz would be nuts to go for him next..

Even after being somewhat exposed, Buatsi's still too good for Ben at this stage. If I were managing Whittaker, I wouldn't put him in with him yet.

Maybe in a year, there's no need for him to be rushed.

It’s got to be telling, if they think someone like Richards is too big a risk.

Whittaker needs to be handled properly. They need to move him up fight by fight, improving in the gym, learning as he goes. One step at a time, not like the stupidity of moving David Price from British level straight to contender level in one step and putting him in with a rangey hard hitting southpaw.

Fair enough mate, but he’s already 28, what is the level in between Cameron and someone like Richards?

With how many names there are at 175 it’s inexcusable to be fighting people no one has heard of…

His 2026 should look like :
Pitters>zak chilli>(craig Richard’s vs azzez winner)> Zach Parker/lyndon Arthur/yarde…

Ed instead will claim he is above domestic levle and ready to become a global superstar, then fight gissepi Luigi and Pablo jaun Louis…

No offence to Liam, but Richards is a level above IMO. Never been stopped, has some decent wins.

Yeah I agree. If they were to line up Cameron again it seems likely that Whitaker would do a number on him again.

So isn’t Richards the next level then?
