the ankush who competed is a different guy . you can see in the video below that its a different face, and the ankush in the video is also a southpaw, not orthodox as panghal is listed. also, panghal's competitive history makes it seem unlikely he would have had as much success at this event as the indian boxer did.

there is an ankush with a profile, although i am not sure this is actually the boxer in the video. they have at least competed on the indian national team as of 2024

It was definitely the 1196180 account you posted per his Instagram. His name is also Ankush Panghal (https://www.instagram.com/boxerankush_/)

On this subject, I also question whether the pro fight tied to Ankush (1196180) was him. No mention of the fight on his instagram and the fight was at 147 while he competed in an ammy tournament earlier that year at 160 and at this most recent event at 175. I also doubt someone who made the Indian amateur team and was good enough to medal in major international events was getting 1st round KO'd by a random debutant. I mean anything is possible, I just find it unlikely

ya ankush who boxed in the world boxing event is a very fine boxer indeed, the pro ko loss in 1 round looks questionable to me too

something very similar happened previously with sachin on the national team being mixed up with a much inferior boxer with the same name
