Agreed about Patterson taking a decision over Dokes, but imo, "Dynamite" Dokes would be too big and too strong for Patterson as the prime Dokes would take Patterson apart behind his jabs and quick hands to stop him from 5 to 7 rounds.

Michael Dokes was too big and skilled. He was as fast as Floyd Patterson. Dokes by unanimous decision or knockout about the 8th round.

Dokes was a bit unpredictable in that he could look disinterested at times, but I agree with the above, he was too big and fast and hit too hard for Floyd

dokes hands were at least as fast as anyone in hw history except maybe ali or rj, hand speed defo not the reason hed lose.

both guys very very talented but vulnerable, would be a good one. hopefully dokes wouldnt train on cocaine
