I honestly wouldn’t even be gutted if the fight was called off an hour beforehand.
I can’t wait for this nonsense to be over.

Should have been a poll option for won't happen . Needed for this fight
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul | NETFLIX - 19 December 2025
Could.nt really care less if they cancelled it .because i simply will not watch it anyway. I subscribe to a simple theory of if you dont like something , or feel your being ripped off DON,T BUY IT .. When my missis comes hme from shopping and says the robbing bastards have put the price of bananas up to 20 bucks a kilo . I say thats because idiots like you pay it . Dont buy it and they will drop the price Same with these stupid fights dont buy them dont watch them amd they will stop doing them

This was always gonna be one those "I'll believe it when I see it".
From losing to an area level lightheavy to fighting a world class heavyweight in his prime was always an unbelievable jump up in class.

No doubt he'll claim a fracture of his orbital bone.
This was contrived from the start to wake Fury from his "retirement'

I honestly can’t believe anyone thinks this fight would ever go ahead? Or if it did, that it would be remotely legitimate? Just no chance in hell.

Is this getting much publicity/airtime? Maybe i'm removed from it all, move in different circles but i dont hear anything about this shite.
Gonna sound daft here, but is boxing mildly ashamed of itself?

Joshua should turn up with that female Turkish puncher from the weekend, just to take the wind out of Caroline’s sails.

Not pay him.Delta Jay wrote: ↑08 Dec 2025, 14:29 Any testing for this?
I’m really annoyed how much I’m interested in this. I half can’t wait.
The biggest determining factor in any fight is size, that’s why we have weight classes, there’s a gulf in size and a gulf in class. I honestly think AJ is being underrated in this one! I’m interested to see if it’s a real fight or not, and I back myself to read it and afterwards I could tell you exactly what was rehearsed/agreed upon.
The thing is, if AJ just goes off-script and bladders him, what can they possibly do about it?
Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul | NETFLIX - 19 December 2025
I cannot imagine a script where AJ gets beat. Surely AJ has more about him than taking a dive.
The best scenario is that Paul has a decent round or 2 and has to pull out from an injury, making the fight and NC. At least Paul can have bragging rights that he was doing ok until the injury forced the fight to be stopped.

Caroline Dubois signs with MVP, defends WBC title on Dec. 19 Jake Paul-Anthony Joshua card
Caroline Dubois has signed with Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions.
Dubois, 24, is the WBC lightweight world champion and turned professional in 2022, signing with Ben Shalom's BOXXER.
'Sweet Caroline' raced to raced to 10-0 before her WBC interim title was upgraded to full title status ahead of her technical draw with Jessica Camara in January.
Dubois (11-0-1, 5 KOs) last fought in March, defending her title against Bo Mi Re Shin, who she beat by majority decision at London's Royal Albert Hall.
MVP have also confirmed Dubois will make her debut under her new promotional banner against Camila Panatta (8-2-1, 1 KO) on December 19.
That, of course, is the date Paul clashes with former heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua at Miami's Kaseya Center, which will stream live on Netflix.
Dubois wrote on X: I’ve signed with Most Valuable Promotions and I’m coming for EVERYONE. I’m at the top for a reason, and now with MVP behind me, the world is about to see a whole new level. I’m officially MOST VALUABLE."
"Caroline Dubois has been the most coveted free agent in women's boxing and we are thrilled to have her join MVP," Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions, said in a statement. "She's a champion, an Olympian and a rising star in the UK and beyond. We look forward to providing her the opportunity to continue her rise with an MVP event in the UK in early 2026."
Dubois joins current and former world champions Alycia Baumgardner, Ellie Scotney and Chantelle Cameron in signing with MVP, who this year have made a push to sign some of boxing's top female talents.
In July, Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano III headlined an all-female MVP card at Madison Square Garden, live on Netflix, drawing six million viewers globally.

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul | NETFLIX - 19 December 2025
Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn reacted to those accusations when speaking to The Stomping Ground:
“Is there a script?” he repeated the question asked. “Yeah, there is a script; we come out and try to knock him out clean – out cold – as soon as possible!
“And by the way; firstly, it’s illegal to have a script when there’s a professional, sanctioned contest; two, we would never be involved in an exhibition fight. Do you think I would sign up to something that might make AJ look bad or go [for multiple] rounds?
“No, we wanna go in there, do a job for boxing, which is what we should be doing, which is ironing this guy out ASAP.”

Notice Eddie uses the words WE this WE that , very often , starting to think he's an actual boxer . I know its common but you usually here it from trainers , who are very close to there fighter day in day out , most have done it themselves and undderstand what it actually takes to get up there , , Sometimes from over excuberent dads , which is also understandable ,Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑10 Dec 2025, 08:06 Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn reacted to those accusations when speaking to The Stomping Ground:

But to be honest when i hear a promoter talking like this i just think Tosser , , because we all know AJ is only a we has long has he's making money , then Eddie will find another to take his place , . If Eddie wants to actually talk like he's a fighter i'm sure he could sell a lot of tickets to a celebrity fight featuring himself , has long has it was someone his own size , not Ben Shalom .
Actually , i would tune in for Kugan and Eddie

Re: Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul | NETFLIX - 19 December 2025
“It’s getting more crooked, brother,” Paul told McAfee. “I’m not gonna lie: sparring the heavyweights, my nose has moved a couple millimetres this camp.
“A guy by the name of Frank Sanchez, he definitely cracked it a bit, so it definitely has a slight little something in there. But yeah, man, it’s bad. Look at that.”
“My coaches are some of the best in the world, and they tell me: ‘Look, we believe that the sparring you’re doing right now is gonna be harder than the actual fight night.’ They don’t lie to me. I trust in my coaches, and I also believe that as well.
“I don’t think [Joshua] can knock me out, because he’s not gonna be able to line up his shots properly to be able to land a hard punch.
“I think it’s gonna be a very tough fight for multiple rounds, but then when I figure out his pacing, his style, his speed, his footwork, he’s gonna get a little bit tired trying to chase me around.
“Then I’m gonna set up the shot. I’m not gonna say exactly what, but I see what it is, and I think it’ll end in the fifth or sixth round.”
