Josh Taylor v George Kambosos

So this is a semi joking thread.

But have there ever been two fighters, at the same time, who completely fell off a cliff after winning their best fight.

In George's case, he over-performed against an under-performing Teo Lopez. And made generational wealth from that for his family so fair play to him.

But after that he lost to Haney twice, he definitely lost to Maxi Hughes no matter what the fornicating judges said, then lost to Loma, beat a 2 day stand in then got proper battered by Hitchins.

So really it's one win in his last six fights after his best win.

As for Taylor he looked amazing from the Davies fight up to the Ramirez fight. People were even saying "Best British Fighter EVER!" (not on here). Then he lost his last four. I didn't think the first Catterall fight was the outrageous robbery that the press had you believe but I had it something like 7-5 to Jack in a very ugly, scrappy fight.

Taylor's drop off is incredible.

So if they fought at 143 or so next Spring, who would win? Who has the most/least left?

Actually like i've always said on here ,it does'nt have to be the best fighting to get a good fight , Benn --Eubank 1 proved that , you just need two willing combatants , who are prepared to give it a red hot go , , Kambosas for me was never on the same level has a Josh Taylor in his prime ,.. But Josh has slipped enough to make this a half decent fight , both have a bit of pride . I'd watch it

I'd watch, too. Taylor wins, imo.

Prime Taylor would obviously destroy him but if they fight in 6 months, i'd pick George.

I cant imagine retirement is suiting taylor well at all and his body has pretty badly let him down.
