Should he be inducted as a fighter, a trainer or both or neither ?

Neither

He was a good, not great fighter, and he worked primarily with one fighter as a trainer.

He was a better fighter than Pazienza and he got in. I don’t think either were Hall of Famers

Roger Mayweather was a fantastic fighter. Not an all-time great. Is he hall of fame level? I don't know. I may have to see closely to his record.
