We've both been posting on here for well over a decade and I can't recall you ever posting a single positive thing about Anthony Joshua or any of his fights.

If you take their last names it becomes a name in itself either way.

Paul Joshua or Joshua Paul.

That doesn't happen very often.

I suppose you have Ali Frazier or Frazier Ali.

I know, you bring it up regularly. It's no secret I'm not a fan, but I don't blame him for this, I was genuinely wondering if ticket sales had picked up. They would have sold out quickly over here. I know AJ is practically unheard of over there but I still thought it would sell.

Had a look and the answers no. It looks like they haven't even opened the upper tier. I suppose Aj will generate views in The UK at least.

He's as well known as any other current active Heavyweight.

So yeah practically unknown.

Mike Tyson is by far the most known (alive) Heavyweight boxer in the USA.

I expect it will do good viewing figures. What's the capacity of the stadium? Perhaps the fans are a bit jaded by the YouTube exhibitions and weird fights?

Why did they hold all the Fury v Wilder trilogy over there on PPV, then? Big numbers and a sell out for the second one, too. Don't get me wrong, I'm aware the average man in the street doesn't know them but surely better than AJ. He boxed there once, got a good hiding and never returned. Fury v Wilder 1 and the 12 round resurrection went viral worldwide.

They briefly knew who Fury was but he's forgotten now.

There was also Forbes David vs Vincent Howard from 1994. A fight from Guyana that had to be stopped when the lights went out at the venue.
