Who do you rate as P4P #1 right now?
It seems obvious to me that Inoue, Crawford and Usyk are the top three P4P, although a few others like Rodriguez, Stevenson and Bivol are very good as well.
Inoue dominated pretty much every round in his fight today. Crawford moved up and defeated Canelo last night. Usyk was great against Dubois not long ago.

Who do you rate as #1 P4P right now?
Re: Who do you rate as P4P #1 right now?
I'd have to give it to Crawford today, and even though Inoue is fighting today there ain't nothing he's gonna do to change that
Re: Who do you rate as P4P #1 right now?
Usyk and Bivol; are on a par for me. The Monster a close second followed by Bud.
Re: Who do you rate as P4P #1 right now?
I can see Usyk. I don't see much of an argument for having Bivol over Bud.

The problem that Usyk has is that he can't move up any further and the level of his opposition is limited. Inoue has beaten some good opposition but not many people know many of them. Crawford has two (maybe three) top wins in recent years but people could question the depth or inactivity.
I think they're are unquestionably the top 3 right now, the order will be anybody's preference and interpretation of p4p.

Usyk and Crawford are both worthy of it.
Re: Who do you rate as P4P #1 right now?
In fairness though to those big 3 wins in recent years for Crawford. I think it's fair to say Canelo, Spence and Porter are the best wins of his entire career.joshj909 wrote: ↑14 Sep 2025, 13:29 The problem that Usyk has is that he can't move up any further and the level of his opposition is limited. To me it’s craw now. Even though I think canelo has been fading a couple years. And I think people overestimate how many weights craw was really going up and it’s more just how good he was at weight cutting early in his career.
But I think triple undisputed, 5 weight world champ (skipping 160 a Div he could easily get one) … I just think for me it has to be craw…. Just on those stats alone.

Usyk for me.
Usyk unified his own division, then moved up and cleaned out the top tier of the heavyweight division, plus he fights more often.
Crawford is second for me, only because of his low activity rate.
If he fought 2 - 3 times a year, he'd probably be the clear number 1.

Crawford has been my number one for several years now
Re: Who do you rate as P4P #1 right now?
For me Crawford, Monster, Usyk, Bivol and maybe Nakatani top 5. Crawford and Monster are close

Nakatani can’t be top 5 in any p4p list.
Re: Who do you rate as P4P #1 right now?
Bivol
Usyk
Crawford
Inoue
Usyk
Crawford
Inoue
Re: Who do you rate as P4P #1 right now?
With Crawford now retired and I'm sure Usyk, Bivol and Beterbiev won't be far behind him, who will make up the top 5 in 2 years time?

Re: Who do you rate as P4P #1 right now?
Inoue right now.
It will be between Benavidez and Rodriguez (who I have four and five now) in the coming years.
But I am really big on Benvidez, not every shares my enthusiasm. I think he'll be considered an atg on the level of the guys currently at the top before it's all done. Rodriguez is a great fighter also, but being significantly smaller, I don't think he'll be around as long. I think Inoue is already past his prime.

To answer the question of who P4P #1 is. If Crawford is out, then the answer is obviously Usyk.

Craw, Usyk and inoue deserve a 3 way split honors.
Is anyone 1 fight away from being in that conversation? Not really. Mabey shakure if he dominates Lopez to become a 4 Div champ. And even then that’s a stretch.
I don’t think anyone else is 1 fight away. (Not one realistic fight away).
