Lagos, Nigeria - 21 December

Post by SeanBrennan »

Dazn card on now, first fight on now. Adam Smith and Barker on comms.

Okolie headlining vs former Dillian foe Tetteh, and Tony joker Yoka vs former Hughie foe Patrick Korte.

It started half hour late and the broadcast has frozen for 60 per cent of it thus far.

Dazn goes global via Amir Khan’s promoting. I support the aim, but this is tough to watch at the moment as the reception is very poor. Feels like a nightclub with poor WiFi.

Too bad they couldn't find better opponents for Okolie and Yoka, someone like Solomon Dacres or Chibuike Ogbuagu would have been better for Okolie, and a better journeyman like Granit Shala for Yoka.

Neither heavyweight matchup is remotely competitive.

The solution was quite simple. Okolie Vs Yoka
