Alan Graves vs David Kerkmann

Post by handsofstone »

This Saturday on DAZN from Derby, never heard of either guy but looks a mad match up on paper, unbeaten middleweight Graves is 5-0 all by KO, German Kerkmann is 29-3 has 25 KOs to his name, his 11th fight this year

I had never heard of Graves before this one was scheduled but have seen the highlights from several of Kerkmann's bouts. He got a second round TKO win his last time out (December 3) due to his opponent's injury but didn't look particularly sharp up to that point. The promoters brought Graves into the ring afterward, and he told the German if he fights like he did against him that he (Graves) would knock his effin head off. Kerkmann was caught completely off guard and had a deer-in-the-headlights-look with no clue how to respond.

Graves stops a hopeless Kerkmann in 2 rounds, Kerkmann might be the worst boxer I've ever seen, Graves just walked forward from the first bell, hands low and just nailing him repeatedly with rights, no intentions of blocking or avoiding them, round 2 Graves rocks Kerkmann with a right that wobbles him, he lands another couple clean and the ref stepped in, might be a tad early but Kerkmann was hurt and shite

The really scary part of this is that Kerkmann's got 30 wins. It makes you wonder who he was fighting.
