Rico Verhoeven his reign continues.

Post by 881073 »

Rico Verhoeven won another world titlefight in the heavyweight division tonight, still defending his world title.

Undefeated for well over 8 years now.

He was the guy who helped Tyson Fury win his titles against Wladimir Klitschko back in the days.
Tyson Fury said he liked Rico Verhoeven because Rico was one of the rare guys who didn't quit boxing against him within 3 minutes.

Rico has vacated his Heavyweight Title I believe. I'm not sure what his plans are if any involving Kickboxing, but I don't believe he's going to be fighting for Glory anymore.

He's been pally with Tom Aspinall for years, do you reckon he's going to try his hand at MMA.

Probably. I'm sure he's just looking for whatever opportunity would offer him the most money in the last few years he'd be capable of competing in Sports like this.

It would be interesting to see him try his hand in Boxing honestly, but he's too old to climb the rankings and all that. If they did a Rico vs Whoever crossover fight in Boxing I would watch for sure.

If he tries MMA. I wish him luck, but I don't watch MMA.

I'm the only guy that seems to be excited about it, but I have no doubt whatsoever it's going to be great, and I think a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised and or/shocked by how competitive it turns out to be.

I won't be. I have no doubt whatsoever Rico Verhoeven is going to be a problem for Usyk.

I'm confident of it, but I'm not gonna keep harping on it. I'll let it be what it be, and then remind people of my words or be reminded of my words and prepared to eat crow when it happens.

Note: I'm not saying I think Rico is going to beat Usyk or nothing insane like that. I just think he's gonna give him a hell of a go of it. More difficult than Dubois either time. More difficult than Joshua the 1st time. Rico will not be a cakewalk.
