there is no case or claim of boxxer suing sky sports.

Re: Ed Robinson & John Whichusen
I just want to know if boxing will be on Sky again I’m not arsed who it is. I agree with Coneye that it’s always going to happen so why worry about it unless it’s directly concerning you.
Unlikely but it would be great if we got Hennessy back on TV, always a good promoter and manager and seems to have been treated badly so be nice to get some good karma for him.
If he doesn’t I’m suing Sky/Boxxer/John Wish/John Wick/Johhny Marr/Andrew Marr..

I have spoke Mick a few times in the last 4 months.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑05 Jan 2026, 15:00 Unlikely but it would be great if we got Hennessy back on TV, always a good promoter and manager and seems to have been treated badly so be nice to get some good karma for him.
He put in a strong bid .
i personally thought it was Mick & Steve Wood who would get it.
Then I came across the legal case and quickly realised there was bigger things for sky to bother about
i am not going to sit on the fence any longer .. i believe Rob selmes should be made accountable for the complete disaster boxing has become.
Selmes position is completely untenable.

Mick has had the BBC, ITV, Sky, Premier Sports, Channel 5 and probably some I've forgotten. He's had more TV contracts than anyone.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑05 Jan 2026, 15:00 I just want to know if boxing will be on Sky again I’m not arsed who it is. I spent time with him last summer at the hotel he stayed at ahead of the Barnsley show where Simpson fought Chelli (pure coincidence, I was meeting my mother in law there as they were over from Oz), and he said he was done with promoting and was just managing fighters. No idea if that has changed now.

Theres a BIG reason why sky have still not named sn english based promoter.
boxing is a minority sport and Sky fear the very least they will get away with is a MASSIVE settlement out of court

Re: Ed Robinson & John Whichusen
Sky won't be making any settlements seeing as Sky isn't even involved in a court case.
I'd be interested to learn if any sides who are involved in the court case have been making offers to settle though.
Often quite instructive to see which side of a case is making offers to settle. Good indicator of how strong they feel their case is + their chances of winning in open court.
The whole discovery process should have been completed by now so both sides and the court have access to each other's evidence and relevant materials.
Also at this point there will have been a costs hearing /costs decision regarding who is liable to pay costs depending on outcome of case, and what % of costs may be recoverable. Gonna be expensive for Boxxer if the court hasn't awarded them 100% costs, that solicitors firm they're using is very pricey.
Maybe the resident boxxer spokesman on the forum can find out for us.
Either way, I'm sure we will see a resolution quite soon.

you keep saying sky are not involved … are you sure??
you keep hinting that one side will not have the funds for the % of the costs … relax relax and relax
you hint at the resolution being near? i said march sky would return to boxing o the strict condition the case doesn’t bring up to many embarrassing points.
my reliable source tells me … one side should be waiting for the knock on the a very important delivery is due

I'm absolutely positive Sky doesn't have a court case with Boxxer, yes
But if you can show me the case /filing number for a Boxxer vs Sky lawsuit, I'll quite happily be proved wrong.
Drop a link here when you're ready.

So there's no court case ongoing between Boxxer and Sky right now, as I said. Thanks for clearing that up.

if the judge finds in favour of shalom . … then that implicates Robinson and head of contract selmes And its then sky sports will settle out of court my conservative estimate shalom will pocket £15m

Re: Ed Robinson & John Whichusen
Ed Robinson is nobodies mug. He will have this covered if he was given the authority to run things but if he was a glorified tea boy and answering to that other guy then I'm not sure what would happen
Sky should have made him head of boxing instead of the egotistical "voice of boxing" "A-Star commentator" Adam Smith who was probably taking into account what plush holidays he would be getting for actual fights rather than the fights themselves.

You have really got to stop lapping up all the shit this "source" person is feeding you.
You're being used as a mug who will publicly parrot propaganda, but because it makes you feel like an insider you're not questioning any of it.
If anything remotely close to the second half of your post above ever comes to pass, I will donate £1,000 to any charity of your choice.
