People don't know it's on. I've said loads of times that Dalton can walk around amateur shows in Yorkshire completely left alone by alone by fans. Kell Brook couldn't have done that at the same stage of his career.

It's a shame and probably deserves better.
Still done really know how good he is, looked good at level he has been fighting at, but will he cut the mustard at world level?

Most were on PPV.
They seem to have a bit of football on in the sub price, not that I watch any.

Re: Subriel Matias vs. Dalton Smith | PPV.com - 10 January 2026
Yeah it’s not a good show relative to the price, but let’s be honest, this is a great main event, with one of our top prospects getting the absolute acid test here. If this was the main event in Sheffield, on a normal broadcast, we’d all be raving about it.
I’m considering getting up at 4 to watch it on the fire stick, or with any luck it could turn up on YouTube or Dailymotion, a bit later, but you can’t be sure.
Let’s be f*cking having it, says Smith at the weigh in, echoing you know who.
I’m not sure why a main event in New York, seems to be at the same time as a main event in Las Vegas, 4am, even with the three hour time difference?

He looked good winning the title, but (IMO) hasn't had the same fire since.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑30 Aug 2025, 12:29 Is Matias good? Confessing my ignorance here I do not think I have watched him before.
Re: Subriel Matias vs. Dalton Smith | PPV.com - 10 January 2026
Looking at his boxrec, he had a run of five wins in a row by retired opponent. Wonder if that’s a record.

100% - It's a massive problem for Matchroom, Queensbury and British boxing. The Sky machine helped build stars (as did BT, to a lesser extent)mickey1975 wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026, 13:42It's a DAZN thing IMOrd350lc wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026, 13:04Mismanaged then.mickey1975 wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026, 10:24

Easy 1st for Smith but Matias rarely does anything in the opener.
Re: Subriel Matias vs. Dalton Smith | PPV.com - 10 January 2026
Matias comes alive in the 2nd but Smith fires back. He's mixing his shots well. Smiths nose bloodied. He looks a little ragged but that's just the excitment. 20-18 smith
