You wish the fight took place on the moon so you can claim it never happened.

State athletic commissions require signed bout contracts Under U.S. boxing regulation (including Louisiana in 1980), a bout cannot be sanctioned without a written contract filed with the commission containing the signature of the boxer.
The contract must include:
Fighter names
Weight class
Number of rounds
Purse terms
Title designation
The Louisiana State Athletic Commission had final approval power over:
Fighter licensing
Matchmaking approval
Title bout sanctioning
They would not—and legally could not—approve a bout unless both fighters executed contracts.
WBC championship fights required:
Signed bout agreement
Approval of terms by the sanctioning body
Payment of sanctioning fees tied to the contract purse
If Durán didn’t sign personally, the WBC belt could not be on the line.
A world-title fight in the U.S. without signed contracts would violate state law and sanctioning-body rules.

Refute this somehow in a credible manner. Or shut the f*ck up.
Since you've already made it abundantly clear you can't refute it. Just sh*t the f*ck up.

And there it goes! You as a moderator don't have no type of class. No truth nor righteousness nor equity. You believe the lies and far from the truth. You want to believe in the lies. You are missing the point that Roberto Duran was not in Panama when Don King, Duran's promoter, and Mike Trainer , Sugar Ray Leonard's manager, flew to Panama City to negotiate the rematch. How could that be possible if Duran is not there in the negotiations?
Why they had to fly to Panama for a fight? Ain't both fighters should have been in a press conference to sign? Think about it.
This fight didn't had no press conference, no signing, because it was already forged by someone if you think that Duran did.
And why they gave Carlos Eleta, Duran's manager, $8 million dollars in Eleta's office? That sounds like a complete complot to embarrass someone. Either Eleta was greedy or stupid or both. Tell us what was he?
There's a saying that when the truth is found, a lot of people get angry. Are you one of those people?
Don King, the promoter, easily can bribe any sanctioning body, including Louisiana. Where money talks and bullshit walks. They knew the deal. What a bunch of hypocrites! They are hypocrites from the Louisiana state board all the way to Eleta. Are you telling me that King cannot break the rules? Do you think that he was a promoter for nothing?
I think that you should shut the fuuuck up, my man! Two can play your game!

Evidently, that didn't matter to promoter Don King. The crooked man of all this. Still, that is making my point exactly. King violated the rules! Well, Carlos Eleta and Mike Trainer were not far behind.
