15 Rounds Middleweight Bout
Tiger would swarm all over the Golden Boy with hard counters on the body and head to either take a decision or stopping him late. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Oscar De La Hoya was not a real middleweight. He was tops, a welterweight at best. Dick Tiger would be too strong for him.
Tiger by decision.

I agree Oscar was not a middleweight but he was successful as a Jr middle.elmersalsa wrote: ↑09 Jan 2026, 16:59 Oscar De La Hoya was not a real middleweight. He was tops, a welterweight at best. Dick Tiger would be too strong for him.
Tiger by decision.
No matter what Dick destroys Oscar.

Agreed
Tiger is too strong for De La Hoya. Middleweight in general is just a bridge too far for Oscar really. He could compete with guys there, but I don't think he'd ever be at his best there.
