Saturday 31st Mega Prediction

Post by Taansend »

Denmark
Jacob Bank W SD William Scull

Newcastle
Leo Atang KO 1st Bloke He's Fighting
Josh Padley KO 9 Jaouad Belmehdi
Josh Kelly KO 7 Bakhram Murtazaliev

Puerto Rico
Abass Baraou W PTS Xander Zayas

New York
Kingsley Ibeh KO6 Jarrell Miller
Bruce Carrington KO9 Carlos Castro
Jamaine Ortiz W PTS Keyshawn Davis
Shakur Stevenson W PTS Teo Lopez

I also predict that one of the commentators will mention that Josh Padley installed solar panels before his last minute call up against Shakur.

And I predict that Teo Lopez's dad will have snot coming out of his nose as he'll be so angry about his son losing.

You've picked a lot of underdogs there. Does Ibeh really have much of a chance against Miller? I haven't watched him before but his record is weird. Early draw against Vianello which ages well but he got KO'd by UFC heavyweight, Cortes-Acosta.

I reckon they’ve chosen that opponent specifically to take him beyond the 1st.

No idea Josh, but if enough of us want it to happen, Jesus will provide.

He'll then condescendingly mention how that fight changed Josh's life and enabled him to buy a house in his hometown Doncaster, as if somebody owning their own house in a northern post industrial town was virtually unheard of

I think Ibeh is a very live underdog against Miller as well. It's not even that he's all that good or anything, but he's 5 years younger. Has been a lot more active, and Miller hasn't won a fight since 2022.

Lopez is very experienced against Southpaws as well. Having fought a lot of them in recent years. I also picked up a lot of nervous energy from Shakur at the weigh in. Teofimo on the other hand seemed cool, calm and collected. Just another fight.

Shakur was talking tons of sh*t, but he came across more as scared than he did as tough. To me anyway.

Also Teofimo has a habit of rising to the occasion for his biggest fights, and giving his best efforts when the most is at stake. This is one he'd be up for.
