Embarrassing behaviour from the Scousers there

Post by tigermoth87 »

Nick Ball's team stops Figgy celebrating a cracking victory because they got monk on. Piss poor sportsmanship from Ballock and his team. And the Scousers all start booing and throwing stuff at Figgy too like chimps in a zoo.

Embarassing behaviour from the Scousers, but it should be expected. You can always trust people from Liverpool to throw their toys out of the pram when things don't go their way. You expect that sort of behaviour from toddlers, not from 60 year old men with beer bellies and 20+ roofers called Hayden with an orange skinned girlfriend on their arm in the stands.

Boxing is a rough sport and Liverpool seems to be a place where they support their own. So although no one wants to see this behaviour it’s of no surprise that certain amount of rough/scummy people come along and act up.

I’m in no way saying what happened is right far from it but where you get a rough sport your gonna get some shft people

Nah, I'd point out scummy behaviour from fans of any shit city--Leeds, Glasgow (as long as they're Celtic), Manchester etc. You wouldn't get this sort of behaviour from boxing fans of a normal, civilized town like Harrogate.

The mean streets of Harrogate, a real boxing hotspot!

What about if some of the gypsies from Leeds turned up at a Harrogate show, and we're distinctly loutish?

I lived in Harrogate. One of my sons was born there. I’ve been to loads of shows there, too. Same as any others round there, travellers and Asians. Wharton made his pro debut there. Harrogate is 20 miles from Bradford, some of the roughest crowds in boxing.

Yeah, the gypsies don't know how to behave themselves too. They're Scousers in caravans. Same victim complex as the scousers too. "People hate us and call us thieves" Billy-Willo says, with a stolen chicken shoved up his jumper and his hand going in the reporter's pocket.
