A 111th victory for Cerdan?

Post by Noctis5 »

I'm 99% sure that Cerdan's record was 110-4 recently. (I am writing a book about Villemain and Dauthuille).

Does anyone have any information about the 111th victory? A fight in Africa that was found?

It appears his first fight is a relatively recent addition. I must says that the details of his early record have not all been verified by contemporary sources, some dates and location may still be off.

Unfortunately, this one will only be in French.

But I want my next book on boxing to be translated in English.
