What is next for Christian Mbilli?

Post by Cent0089 »

I have feeling he will get the fight with Canelo in september. Wondering if he will defend his title before that. What do you think?

That's a fight I'd love to see. Mbilli is the Nigel Benn of this era and immensely fun to watch.

I'm pretty sure he said recently, how the Martinez fight is gonna happen, but that he also hopes to fight Canelo.

I'd take both fights. Martinez arguably beat him, he should get that one back, but the payday is definitely his priority number 1.

I would prefer to see the Mbilli-Martinez rematch for the full WBC championship, and Alvarez can take on the winner when he returns in September.

Yeah, Mbilli and Martinez had their fight last september. No need to wait a year to fight again.
Let's hope the wbc forces them to do a rematch.

Winner get's a payday against Canelo in September.

I think the current version of Alvarez struggles with either Mbilli or Martinez, unless, of course, he enters the ring with three rounds already in the bank.

I agree. He could still pull it off, but it will be a struggle for sure.

Just to correct you, he usually starts with at least 4 rounds in the bank :D
