15 Rounds Flyweight Bout
This is an interesting matchup between two Thai legends who fought in the 1960s, but they never fought one another as Kingpetch was Chionoi. However, had they fought it would be a Thai version of the first Ali vs. Frazier of the Fight of the Century. Either Kingpetch outboxes Chionoi behind his jabs and counter combinations to take a decision or would Chionoi swarm all over Kingpetch with heavy punches on the body and head to either take a decision or stopping him late. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Pone Kingpetch by decision. Different class. I don't know why he's not in the hall of fame. Chartchai Chionoi should be in, too. Or is he in already?

Hate to say it but I agree with Elmo, Pone by decision. And he should be in the HOF for finally taking the flyweight belt from the legendary Pascual Perez and twice regaining it vs HOF-level fighters. Another lighter weight fighter overlooked who would be revered if he were a welterweight or higher

Kingpetch was already inducted into the IBHOF in 2023 under the old-timer category, but I hope Chionoi should be inducted too one day when the time come under the old-timer category.elmersalsa wrote: ↑18 Feb 2026, 22:08 Pone Kingpetch by decision.
