The best fighter from Ukraine?

Post by Sweet Dick Willie »

Vasili Lomatsenko. And not only from Ukraine but (besides Macho Camacho and Johnny Tapia) I think he is the greatest boxer ever. P4P better than Usyk. All of his three losses were due to bad refereeing. I also believe Vitali was better than Volodymir.

As of this moment I'd say the best fighter from the Ukraine is Usyk by the ever so slightest margin. Wladimir is one more big under him from his spot as the best Champion ever from Ukraine I'd say.

Lomachenko is well ahead of Vitali Klitschko, and I don't know who would be 5th, but I wouldn't be surprised to see another one soon considering that all 4 of these guys were products of the last 30 years or so, and prior to them there were no significant Ukrainian boxers in the sport.

If Usyk were to suddenly crash and burn and end his career on a losing streak, Wladimir could wind up back at the top spot by default, but I think that's unlikely.

Usyk is the best ever easily.

Lomachenko was very good, but definitely falls short because of the Salido and Lopez losses.

Wlad Klitschko gotta make the 3rd place.

I'd have Wlad 2nd. He has more Championship wins than Vasyl Lomachenko has fights period. Aside from about 45 other fights he has. For volume alone he has Lomachenko beat. That being said, Lomachenko does run him remarkably close for such a relatively short career, and he has his brother Vitali's legacy beat.

That's a fair point, I think Wlad and Loma are close, while Vitali is definitely behind both, on the 4th place.
