i have to say i do not like this ppv move and ibelieve it could put Boxxxer under severe pressure if
ppv doesn’t do the numbers.

there is no strength in depth to the ppv shows,

the hardcore boxing fan knows when shows are on … but ppv relies on drawing in casual fans.

The advertising is sh+te so casual fan doesn’t havea clue boxing is on.

i will give you a prime example…

Channel 5 recently showed the superbowl … the advertising support of that game was tremendous.

Just saw Boxxer are doing a show in Cardiff on 4th April with Lauren Price headlining. Might actually pop down to that, am seeing Calzaghe doing a talking gig on the 5th so would be a nice weekend of boxing stuff.

Just took a look at tickets out of interest and is nearly sold out, surprised tbh as haven’t long been on sale. Cheapest one left is 70 quid, think I’ll watch on BBC instead, get some rare value out of the licence fee.
