Trevor Berbick vs. Andrew Golota

Post by scorpio83 »

12 (or 15) Rounds Heavyweight Bout

Either Berbick outhustle Golota behind his jabs, body punches, left hooks and right hands to take a decision or stopping him late or would Golota keep Berbick at bay behind his jabs and left-right combinations to take a decision. What do you guys think and who do you got?

Berbick was strong, really strongly.

Not sure Golota would fancy this after 5 rounds.

Andrew Golota was the better boxer. No doubt in my mind. But, his mind and stupidity would make him lose this fight. He was outboxing Riddick Bowe in both fights. It's just that his crazy and deranged mind failed him to keep composed and poised when the going gets tough. A quitter for the ages!

Trevor Berbick wins the minute Golota's mind fails. If not, it's all Andre Golota.

I could easily see Berbick being too tough to go down from Golota's attacks, and therefore gassing Golota out, and making him start doing stupid sh*t.

Golota wouldn't always get himself DQ'd. Sometimes he'd just lose a few points and UD. If Berbick ever rocks him or drops him it raises the possibility of Golota panicking and doing something stupid.

I'd lean toward Golota to win, but you can't ever be confident in him.
