You're Zuffa-TKO, you've got his Supreme Turkeyship behind you and you're going shopping for names.
How much talent is even out there names-wise which moves the needle? And how many do you need to sign in order to become overnight the dominant force /premier league?
Your budget is unlimited for now, and you've got ten slots to fill.
Who do you pick /poach and why?
You are Zuffa - go shopping

I’d go for the best in each division.johnmanchester wrote: ↑26 Feb 2026, 03:57 You're Zuffa-TKO, you've got his Supreme Turkeyship behind you and you're going shopping for names.

Usyk
Opetaia
Bivol
And so on.
Having those fighters who can legitimately say they are the best in the world weakens the sanctioning bodies and gives them real credence.
Re: You are Zuffa - go shopping

Re: You are Zuffa - go shopping

I would move Heaven and Earth to sign up Usyk first and foremost, because if you have The Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, you have undeniable leverage as a Promotional outfit, and instant credibility.
It's the move Don King made. It's the move the IBC made. It's the move to make.

Just follow UFC model. Put boxing show every weekend, or at least every second weekend, when there are 8-10 evenly matched fights. Fight of the night bonus, performance of the night bonus - 100k is not exactly big money for top ranked fighters, but can definitely be motivation for undercard up and comers. No PPVs. Gain popularity. Attract fighters, not chase them.

That’s right. For the price of one Benn fight, you could probably pay 100+ fighters to go full time and have 2-3 well matched bouts per year per fighter
