I've watched Ursu a few times. Very tricky operator. John Clark has done a great job with him. Rooting for him to win tonight.

I've got Ursu up 3-0 after 3. Cooper gets in a few good shots a round, but Ursu is definitely fighting his fight and landing more frequently.

Some of Ursu’s zits seem to have burst. He definitely needs to get some cream on his skin

Who won?

Was this the weakest card on TV so far this year?

Ursu won in pretty dominant fashion. About 10 rounds to 2 or so. Unanimous Decision.

I see Constantin Ursu is trained by Marlee Dann in Plymouth.

I'm guessing that's a relative of Scott Dann, a decent fighter from that way who retired because of a dodgy back, if i remember rightly.

Yeah, he’s Scott Dan’s cousin. There is also a 16 year old Callum Dann who has gone over to Thailand so he can turn pro young.

118-110 Ursu, kept Cooper at bay from the southpaw stance, jabbing, 1/2s, moving around, Cooper was trying to make things happen, plenty feinting but apart from a couple of the middle rounds couldn't get anything going, Ursu picked him off pretty comfortably, no frills stuff, good performance from him

It was a decent scrap in the end. Ursu is approaching his level IMO.
