Dominating someone in your 30s is definitely “something.” A win when you are both 50 and retired change anything that.
And Floyd’s case was never just the 0.

I'd still rank Pacquiao ahead of Mayweather in an all time P4P sense even if Mayweather beats him for a 2nd time honestly, but I know the general public may not feel that way.

As a whole he has the edge on Mayweather as far as big fights, and big wins against Elite level competition, but we have to take into account that even in their 1st bout Manny was in his 7th weight class while Floyd was in his 4th. Floyd is the naturally bigger man than Manny by quite a bit.

Manny had already had a Hall of Fame career before he ever fought his 1st fight in the Welterweight division.

It's fair to think Pacquiao is the better P4P fighter, I just don't agree that Floyd has nothing over Manny except for the "0". He beat him clearly, was the more technically complete fighter, and handled elite opponents without taking the kind of damage Manny did.

Pacquiao did climb more weightclasses and that's an incredible feat, but Mayweather is at least as great with what he did in 5 weightclasses.

Mayweather is incredibly great in his own right, and is better than most Boxers of the last 50 years. He didn't have the career Manny had though.

I know Mayweather beat Manny head to head, but it was a fairly close fight, and a competitive loss. Manny fighting a close fight with Floyd Mayweather would've been the equivalent of Floyd moving up and fighting a close fight with Andre Ward.

Pac is the only Pro fighter he could fight that would actually be his size. De La Hoya or Jake Paul would be Exhibition bouts, and Exhibition bouts ain't never gonna pay what a Sanctioned Pro bout would.

I do genuinely believe he's gonna go through with this. I don't think he needs the money, but with the biggest purses ever handed out in the history of the sport being handed out now, it's a hard thing to resist if you're one of the few guys the guys with the moneybags keep calling.

I also hope one of them doesn't get seriously hurt. I always worry that these fighters so advanced in age are really gonna get hurt one of these times, and it'll be a huge black eye on the sport.
