There's also an excellent podcast called 'colonial outcast' which is hosted by a former US special forces operative - who knows his onions when it comes to warfare.
Of course, he can't be trusted, as he is of course a wokity woke fairy ex elite combat operative, who suffers from TDS. He's probably gay and bums dogs or something.

My god, Erika Kirk has just been appointed to the board of the USAF.
You couldn't make this shit up.

Apparently Charlie Kirk was on the board before her!

Israel had some apartment buildings leveled by SCUDS courtesy of Saddam. A couple buildings knocked down looks pretty impressive for your side, but I'm not convinced it's on a massive scale yet

Who's side?
I'm not aware of anybody here being Iranian.
For what it's worth, I think it will probably do the world some good if Israel suffers some consequences from this - it will hopefully discourage the Israeli government from expanding into it's neighbours land constantly.
I fear if not, we're heading back to the days of a major regional conflict even bigger than the one currently which could precipitate into a world war with other powers like Russia, Turkey etc getting involved.
This shit is bad all around - it has to be stopped and soon. Trump doesn't have a clue what he's doing.

No REAL Christian would approve of murdering little schoolgirls.
Dispensationalist Christian Zionism is heresy. It's creator Scofield was a con man, an ex-convict who abandoned his wife and small children.

I think Trump thinks he can just threaten people and it's enough for them to crumple - he tried with zelensky, and was shocked to find that Zelensky wasn't going to back down. He managed to capture maduro, and thought Iran was going to be like Venezeula, but found out that their regime had tricks up their sleeves, and now the price is being paid with volatile oil markets, and global uncertainty causedJamesPhilips wrote: ↑11 Mar 2026, 14:19Or maybe he does? I am sure there were probably voices urging caution about starting conflict with Iran, but probably not as many as there would have been in the past, because he has numbnuts like Hegseth in charge of the most powerful military in the world.
I don't think Trump was previously a warmonger, but he loves to look tough, and he likes declaring victory, he's a petty sonofabitch. He has also doubtless become intoxicated with the awesome power of the American military - as did previous presidents who then got bloody noses when they faced an enemy that was fighting for their very existence, as this regime is.
I pity to poor sods who hate the Iranian regime - and are caught in the cross hairs - but the end result of this, if the regime survives, is that it will do everything it can to harden itself, and it's desire for nuclear weapons will be stronger than ever.

PMQs today was eye-opening.
As was Farrage's absolute U-turn on supporting the war.
Badenoch and Farrage were telling everyone how we should have gone in with America. Now both are claiming they never really said that, and have adopted the same position as Starmer. Who knows what they'd have done if either of them were in power.

Re: Trump attacks Iran
I think Trump is not acting independently, like all politicians. He’s doing what his backers want him to do. But like most powerful people, he’s narcissistic, he has psychopathic traits, he’s driven by power and lacks empathy….. but he’s doing the work of those more powerful than him. Look at how media and politicians glorify war and death and present it as positive. It’s sickening. And the people that suffer are, as always, the normal, poorer working people. The leaders have always abused the weak for their own ends. Promoting and encouraging war through propaganda. It’s not different now because it’s 2026. It’s always been that way. Poor or decent people have no power and will be used and abused throughout history….. it’s sickeningjamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑11 Mar 2026, 14:36I think Trump thinks he can just threaten people and it's enough for them to crumple - he tried with zelensky, and was shocked to find that Zelensky wasn't going to back down. C’mon Ricky you’re a chess player.
You know it takes patience, careful analysis, deep thinking, humility, mental discipline…
Trump would be absolutely faeces at chess.

Agreed. Trump and Hegseth are just such unbelievably horrible people.
Supposedly we there to help the people of Iran. But they don't care that they just killed well over 100 innocent girls. If we keep bombing, more and more innocent people will die.
