Jersey Joe Walcott was RIPPED!!!!

Post by generic screen name »

I was watching Ringside 25 Greatest Knockouts (it was eh) and they showed the Walcott KO of Charles and when they were interviewing Walcott, I was thinking freaking A was he ripped, even by today's standards!!! I'm surprised no one gave him crap about it back in the day!

Yes he looked like he was in great condition. I never understood how his weight was usually around 200 pounds. He looked much bigger.

..one of walcott's trainers said the jersey man had a resting heart rate of 145.

when walcott fought louis they were supposed to be about the same age, but many said walcott was older than he claimed. whatever, in tbeir matches...especially the first one, walcott looked and moved like the much younger man. as he continued his career....louis started to look older than his own years and walcott stayed the same. a most interesting physical specimen.
