Wow, great fight here.
I can’t pick an easy one here, can see it going either way.
If it’s the Taylor pre Chavez, I lean his way in a close one.
I’m not being an Oscar hater here, I just really rated Meldrick at 140 and was amazing until that night.
After that he was never the same in my eyes. Still gifted and brave, but looked beatable.
Although he went to welter, a post Chavez 140 version of him would have been slaughtered by Oscar

If the best version of ODLH face the Meldrick Taylor at his best before the first Chavez fight, Taylor would edge the Golden Boy out to take a decision, but if De La Hoya face the Meldrick Taylor from the first post Chavez fight, ODLH would either take a decision or stopping Taylor late.

That brutal fight with Julio Cesar Chavez took a lot of Meldrick Taylor who was a terrific fighter.

Taylor UD. ODLH didn’t peak at 140.

Both of them as they were coming into their fights with Julio Cesar Chavez at 140. I'd favor Taylor, I think he would've had better stamina, and would've been just too fast in the exchanges. Oscar was fast himself so he's gonna get the better of some of them, but I think Meldrick gets the better of more.

The two things De La Hoya has to his advantage is a better chin and a harder left hook. If anybody is going down in this fight it won't be Oscar.

So I'm going with Meldrick, but it's a toss up matchup for sure.
