It's amazing how much sway he has comsidering he's the world's biggest bullshitter, within 30 minutes of his comments the value of us markets rose 2 trillion, however they fell a trillion once Iran declared it as horse shite.
There's plenty of people in the money markets who are no doubt getting it directly from the horses mouth effectively, allowing them to make huge profits, whilst Joe Schmow takes it up the arse and loses money.

Iran described the talks as "fake news".

I wish this was a monopoly not real war, with lives in dangers, livilohoods at risk and not an evil regime (I do mean Iran) involved...... if it was all this I would be pissing myself.

TRUMP: Very good discussions with Iran… this time they mean business

Iran: ALL talk reports ‘FAKE NEWS’, Trump is trying to stabilise the oil prices. There are NO negotiations.

What an utterly shambolic mess this is. Even if TACO comes to fruition and Trump shuts the whole thing down and declares victory and goes home, the result is an Iran with a younger, more embittered hardline leader who now understands that he has an effective lever he can use against the world economy whenever he feels threatened.

Many innocent Iranians being killed.

A pharmacist and a homesick lifestyle blogger: The civilian cost of war in Iran

https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c3v6ld7lv9no

Parastesh Dahaghin was a young pharmacist killed in an explosion while she was at work.

Berivan Molani was in bed when debris from an air strike in Tehran struck her head.

For more than three weeks, Tehran and other cities have been pummelled by US and Israeli airstrikes - with thousands of targets hit across the country.

And reports of civilian casualties from these strikes are not limited to adults. Eilmah Bilki, aged 3, reportedly died a day after being injured in the western town of Sardasht.

The toll on civilians is mounting fast. Most of their stories will never be told.

Of course, Trump did nothing wrong even those his name is redacted a million times.

As for Iran, it's kind of disappointing that only 68% of the people voting are against this.
so far 11 people have voted that it OK for the United States to attack another country for no valid reason.

I think it will be the other way around myself i.e Iran noticing that North Korea got left alone the moment it got nukes [Iran have been attacked twice inside the last 10 months]

Wouldn't be suprised if Iran insisted on their right to have them after this before there is any deal.

Shouldn't be surprising. ~30% of the country will back him on literally anything. There is no low too low.

To play devil's advocate, I switched my vote from not sure to no because I think the mission is accomplished. The nay or not sure votes may be based on Iran's evil regime, not just Trump. Maybe it's not a great idea to label other countries as little or big Satans. Just a thought.

Your right, Trump has already won this, probably more than once.

How is the mission accomplished? They still have the enriched uranium, they still have their huge army, they now have a younger and even more hardline leader. No regime change, so the oppressed people of Iran will stay oppressed. The Iranian regime now know that negotiating is meaningless and they know that the only way to guarantee against attacks form Israel and the US is to have nukes. They will immediately restart the program because they have nothing to lose. All Trump has accomplished is to kick the can down the road a few years. If he wants to put a real dent in the nuclear ambitions of Iran he needs to get the enriched uranium, which means boots on the ground.

The thread will be unlocked later but take heed, I'm getting tired of this stuff now.

It appears that Iran may be proving that the Drone Swarm actually can create significant problems for Israel's vaunted Iron Dome. ISIS were already experimenting with hobbyists and children's toys as weapons, and now Iran according to one source I've read has forced Israel to shootdown 2 hundred dollar drones with fifty thousand dollar rockets. Also there is a school of thought among many military analysts, that the April 2024 Attack by Iran on Israel was merely a ruse used to more accurately locate air defense systems.

I probably should have written, we should just go home and say the mission is accomplished. Let the Saudis or Israelis send in ground troops.

It's nearly over now, Rubio said no more than two weeks. Generally you find that the hardest part of these short month long wars is the first 3 or 4 years.
