I think it’s a watchable fight. Adeleye can punch. And he’s good value in press conferences.

BTW just rewatched the fight. Round 4. Franklin seems to catch Moses with a jab and Itauma’s leg stumbles. Did anyone catch that? Am I reaching or does that seem worrying?

AJ, Fury, Dubious and Wardley won't want to be facing him.

That was special
Fury dances rings around him. The others your probably right!

Fury won't be dancing rings around him, he gets stopped at his age and condition

Hughie Fury is a good match - easy sell, Fury has a good chin. It would still be another ‘can Itauma stop him' type fights like Franklin.

Guido Vianello - decent, good chin. Beatable. Prob be expensive to get him over though.

Kevin Lerena - a sort of name. Some ability. Would get blasted out in a few rounds probably.

Otto Wallin - not been stopped. Ok boxer. No fire power. Would get stopped brutally….

David Adeleye - can punch at least

TBF it’s a tough task. Heavyweight is always short on depth and Itauma is very hard to match. If you’re a sadist you might call for Joe Joyce or Derek Chisora
All of those are guys who have already been beaten easily, so what would be the point of him fighting them.
A loss doesn’t finish you necessarily. I mean who would you pick? There’s not much around
A loss doesn't finish you, but wouldn't it wouldn't prove anything if he beat them.

I would pick Richard Torrez Jnr.

There is no way Torrez’s management will agree to fight Itauma, esp now

Torrez has been calling him out for a while now. Why would his management not want the fight? Itauma beat a fat bloke who hardly threw a punch and was only famous for losing.

I guess neither want to risk a title shot and their unbeaten record. I’d favour Itauma to win from what I’ve seen of Torrez. Have to remember Itauma is still inexperienced, no senior amateur fights and young, so stopping Franklin was a decent result, he’d never been dropped before.

I think they would take it. Torrez isn't earning very much and this would be a big exposure for him.
But I doubt we will be seeing Itauma fighting another guy on the way up just yet. Fwank will dangle the bait to the punters a while longer.
I'd just be happy to see Itauma fighting at least 4 times this year, start with that.

Hughie's a good shout, a fit and firing Hughie could keep him on the end of his jab, frustrate Moses and give him a long hard night's work. It'd be an interesting insight into Moses' stamina.

Fury couldn't dance rings around Wilder, yet he will do so with someone with better technique and footwork than wilder?

I think Itauma is a live dog with anybody right now, he might get old manned, but I don't reckon he gets outclassed by anybody.

Good fight, and actually, it could be attractive for Hughie, if he manages to pull out a win, he's right back in the mix.

There really isn't a lot of strength in depth at the moment.

Joyce, god that would be horrific to watch he would get absolutely brutalised, Chisora has more sense I think than to put himself in with Moses.

Can you really see them putting him in with Itauma for exposure though?

They turned down a a big money offer from the Saudis not long ago (maybe a year / 18 months) saying Torrez wasn’t ready yet.

He’s the only potentially marketable American HW right now (other than maybe Anderson if he turns it round), can’t see them risking that unless it’s for a title.

Franklin is crazy; Moses smoked him Julian Jackson style.

Franklin was out like a light when he was face planted.

When a fighter is lights out and face planted, an immediate stoppage is all a decent referee should be calling.

The ref did Jermaine a favour and might have saved his career and future health.

Ajagba's with Zuffa so I'd imagine he's effectively out of the game as far as meaningful Heavyweight fights until that contract is up.

If he fought Hughie as he’s older than Moses he will have the advantage of having his man strength.
