Tommy Fury vs. Eddie Hall | DAZN - 13 June 2026

Post by MasterG »

Apparently happening in June on a Misfit boxing event at the AO Arena.

Not sure what to think about this.

I think we need another sub forum where all Fury stuff go.

i've seen something on youtube a year ago or so where the two of them are in a gym hanging out, seem like mates. definitely a cash-out, not a beef, but yeah we should have a separate sub forum for (z-list) celeb boxing

Just think DAZN have extended the Misfits contract for fights like this.

How can i be sad about it ... my son Has a job and the Sauerland brothers treat him very well and have done so for over 10 years

Tickets on sale, only half arena open with the looks of it. I almost bought 2 tickets today but then thought, there are always free tickets on the NHS free tickets site for Misfits so proberly get a couple of freebies

Eddie will at least be getting paid for this one. When he fought Thor they got scammed and never got paid a penny.

Eddie guested at a couple of comps I went to he was really friendly. It’s a silly fight but I’ll end up watching it.

I don’t think there’s going to be any UKAD testing here somehow….

Dave Allen said he’s not been tested once for his Hrgovic camp. Is this normal for non-title fights?

Both him and Thor didn’t get paid anything?

Nope not a dime. The organiser was a scam and they spent money on prep etc and didn’t get anything. I thought something was off when the recording started and it was very Teemu.

Remember they both come from a sport where the pay is ropey so will have thought they were quids in.

The only competition I ever won in that sport I won a trophy that fell apart on the way home and I won a tub of out of date protein. Elite athlete me….

Obviously they’re both minted now, Thor from Game of Thrones and out of comp earnings and Eddie for becoming famous but strongman post was crap when they were competing (albeit Thor has made an a comeback and the money is better now)

I wonder if we will have a repeat of Jarrell Miller where his hairpiece gets punched clean off his head.

There's really nothing wrong with a novelty fight in a case like this. It's not as if there's a title on the line or the integrity of the sport is at risk. No big matchup is waiting on the outcome of this. It's just 2 dudes that dabble a little bit in Boxing dabbling a little bit in Boxing. If it makes em a buck and we get a halfway entertaining event out of it, everybody wins.

Boxing is a joke isn't it?

I can't think of any other sport where untrained schmucks and YouTubers can compete in a sideshow and it gets treated by the governing bodies and the fans as an actual contest lmfao

It's embarassing.
