"Massive news" lol
It's a complete nothingburger that's going to go nowhere.
I am sure Sky have a long list of reasons why they dropped Boxxer
I don't understand these interviews like this one, where it's as if Sky were somehow obliged to renew with Boxxer and the whole thing is an outrage.
The contract expired and was not renewed.
I don't expect the bbc will be renewing either. What then?

In which he's saying Sky were making plans for an Adam Azim fight without boxxer.
But since then, Adam signed new deal with boxxer and boxxer signed with bbc
So fighter was retained and boxxer remained obviously commercially viable - can't see therefore how any damage has been done.

Why would Adam Azim, a rising star with the world at his feet, sign with busted flush Ben Shalom ?
Is Mazher Majeed involved ?

There is no doubt, in my opinion Shalom is going oto have accusations thrown at him from all angles.johnmanchester wrote: ↑01 Apr 2026, 10:57

But in my opinion just because a person is highly unpopular and very naive should not give people an excuse to takek the law into their own hands.
It's staggering how people thought it appropriate to act in the way they did

Of what allegedly happened over a significant period of time. I stress allegedly over a significant period of time.
Its embarrassing and standby my figure of £15m plus is a very conservative amount that shalom will dettle for
"what allegedly happened over a significant period of time. I stress allegedly over a significant period of time"
This is the new spin is it?
I assume the thinking goes something like:
- boxxer claims the John Wischusen emails were what got them not renewed by Sky
- but if Boxxer was told by Sky well before those emails that there would be no renewal, that argument falls flat and it's case closed
- therefore it's necessary to claim moves were being made well before that date
Sky renewed Matchroom halfway into the deal and it's typical of broadcasters to renew fight promotions halfway into a successful deal.
The fact boxxer wasn't extended by the halfway mark or in year 3 is significant. Not because it suggests any wrongdoing on Sky side, but because it was presumably already clear - certainly once into year three - that this was a failing arrangement which wouldn't be extended.
Is the new tactic now to claim that the failure to renew boxxer halfway, as matchroom was, is a sign of something nefarious?
my figure of £15m plus is a very conservative amount that shalom will dettle for
Will get some serious legal bills though

Anyway... Don't get too hung up on this. Nothing will happen.
You keep saying stuff like "act in the way they did" but you've not once yet cited any specific alleged action that's supposed to be so outrageous.
This whole thing is so silly. It's like boxxer have no idea or experience that broadcast deals can simply be allowed to expire.
It doesn't matter if Sky was talking formally or informally to other promotions, other promoters or making plans to do its own thing post boxxer.
The whole thing to me smacks of people simply being unable to mentally process not being renewed and being unable to process being told "no".
Going to be an expensive misfire imo.
