Wilder fights on the back foot in last few fights, that affects his power as almost pulling his punch

Chisora blowing after 1.

Chisora looks sluggish. No snap to anything thrown. Fight looks a mess after 1

Re: Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Derek Chisora - 4 April 2026
the ring can barely contain these two grizzled warriors
Re: Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Derek Chisora - 4 April 2026
Wilder worse than ever. That wide stance negates his lateral movement. Meaning, the slow Chisora can swarm and hit him. Wilder won't be able to take too many shots, he never could.

Neither can ChisoraSamWise72 wrote: ↑04 Apr 2026, 17:56But he can't box? Like, at all?gilgamesh wrote: ↑04 Apr 2026, 17:53It's not at all inconceivable to me that Wilder could outbox Chisora. Punchers often lose their pop as they get older. Wilder could conceivably outbox Chisora in spots and outfight him in spots. Again, we're talking about Chisora here, not some world beater.
I could've picked Wilder by KO, but I simply picked Wilder to win because a decision isn't completely out of the realm of possibility in my mind considering Wilder's age and the trend of punchers to lose their snap.

Chisora already tired as usual.

This is about as shot as I've ever seen 2 name fighters look against each other.

Wilder fights scared, always on the retreat. He can’t seem to throw a straight right hand anymore either, maybe too many injuries to shoulder stops him.
Re: Round-by-Round: Deontay Wilder vs. Derek Chisora - 4 April 2026
When they get close and slug it out it's anybody's game. The fact that Wilder has a jab and Chisora doesn't has been the difference so far.

Shockingly biased referee
Couple of times he’s stopped Wilder working unnecessarily
