Arturo Gatti vs Junior Witter (2005)

This fight was on the cards in early 2005 and almost happened, when initial talks between Gatti and Mayweather collapsed.

Witter just have won a WBC title eliminator vs N'dou and was ready to hop on the chance to replace Floyd and fight Gatti on June 11, 2005.

Mick Hennessy, Witter's promoter at the time, considered luring Gatti to England with a handsome payday. But they were also ready to travel to America for that one.

Let's say, Mayweather-Gatti talks wouldn't have resumed. Witter travels to US and takes on Gatti at his fortress - Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.

How it goes and who wins?

I lean towards Witter by decision.
