It appears the trinket offered by Fifa to Trump had more than symbolic value. All of a sudden, the DoJ is dropping cases against Fifa.

I guess they never realised that when Trump said he would 'drain the swamp' that didn't mean he wasn't going to refill it with his own ooze.

Trump didn't drain it, he took all the lobbying, gerrymandering and grant abuse and swallowed it whole. The swamp now sits in Trump's fat tummy.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑03 Apr 2026, 15:31 I guess they never realised that when Trump said he would 'drain the swamp' that didn't mean he wasn't going to refill it with his own ooze.

Stop your lies and your anti-Semitic attacks on Jill Stein. That article is nonsense - Stein is a righteous and ethical person.Tony1244 wrote: ↑03 Apr 2026, 18:11Idiot, read this.

It almost did! If the election had been just slightly closer, the Jill Stein votes would have made all the difference. There is precedent for that. Ralph Nader cost Gore the election in 2000. Perot cost Bush the election in 1992. Look, I don't care that you hate Israel and love Hamas. There are plenty like you. You amuse me because you are too stupid to know how to vote.hhaehre wrote: ↑03 Apr 2026, 18:20Oh sure, and voting for her gave us Trump.Perkin Warbeck wrote: ↑03 Apr 2026, 18:15Stop your lies and your anti-Semitic attacks on Jill Stein. Definitely Perkin. And I don't even care that he loves Hamas. I care that he keeps lying about my views.hhaehre wrote: ↑03 Apr 2026, 19:50I love Hamas? In the last couple of weeks we've seen him fire Ice Barbie & the other Barbie whose nickname I can't remember right now.
We've also seen the TV Presenter God of War fire more generals who actually know about military stuff.
So we're left with a TV Host masquerading as a President & a TV Host Masquerading as a War God (whose boss thinks he "knows more than all the generals put together")
The stock markets are tanking, the cost of living is rising & will get so much worse over the summer, not just here in the USA but across the world (it's already affecting our extended family in rural Thailand) & we seem to be stuck in a war that he's claimed to have won several times but somehow our expensive fighter jets are still getting shot down. So he has to either double down & physically invade Iran or just back off & pretend that this never happened.
So what's next? We're trying to starve Cuba out of existence & we are turning out backs on our allies more & more while ignoring the fact that Russia is aiding Iran in it's defence against us.
When do we, the people, start all the WINNING we were promised?

I never voted for Jill Stein, although if I could have, I would have, because she was by far the best of the three presidential candidates. I don't live in Michigan. I never voted at all in the 2024 US election.Tony1244 wrote: ↑03 Apr 2026, 19:26It almost did! If the election had been just slightly closer, the Jill Stein votes would have made all the difference. Even if I lived there and had voted, a single vote would have made no difference in the outcome. You are mentally ill if you believe I caused the outcome of the last election.
You know I don't support Hamas, but you keep on repeating that same lie! I don't hate Israel, but I do hate Netanyahu and his pathetic disgusting useful idiot, Donald Trump.
Like Donald Trump and Lindsay Graham, you are Israel-first. You believe the lives of Persian and Palestinian children don't matter - you even enjoy the suffering of the children in Gaza and Lebanon.

This bit of satire hits the mark:
BREAKING: Iran confirms it has no interest in a reciprocal assassination against Trump because no weapon it could possibly build, not even nukes, could do more harm to the US than the current president.
Iranian Supreme National Security Council reportedly held a 6 hour emergency session before concluding, and I quote, "Why would we take out our best guy?"
Pentagon sources say Iranian military planners actually have a protective detail assigned to Trump. Not to kill him. To make sure nobody else does either. He's considered a strategic asset of incalculable value.
"We spent 45 years trying to destabilise America," one senior Iranian official allegedly told Al Jazeera. "This bloke's done more damage in 2 years than our entire revolutionary programme. The man is basically doing our job for free. And badly. Which, in this case, is perfect."
Iranian economists have reportedly modelled the cost-benefit analysis and determined that one Trump presidency is worth approximately 14 nuclear warheads, 6 major cyberattacks, and 200 years of anti-American propaganda. And that was BEFORE he started a war that sent oil to $190 a barrel and handed them the moral high ground on a silver bloody platter.
In a related development, Iran has officially renamed the Strait of Hormuz. It will now be known as "The Straightjacket of Trump." Tehran says the new name better reflects the corridor's current strategic function, which is slowly squeezing the American economy until it loses its mind. A spokesperson added, "The name also honours the mental state of the man who decided to fight a war on top of his own oil supply line."
Meanwhile, Hezbollah has reportedly renamed its internal Trump file from "Great Satan" to "Employee of the Month."
The Ayatollah was asked if he feared Trump's military might. He laughed for 11 minutes straight, then said, "The man just mass texted a war plan to half of Washington and bombed a country that sells fuel to his own allies. Fear him? We're thinking about sending him a gift basket."
At press time, China, Russia, and North Korea had all issued a rare joint statement asking the US Secret Service to increase Trump's security detail immediately, describing the 79 year old president as "irreplaceable."

Trump could rip off his face mask and show that he is a lizard man live on tv and it wouldn't be that shocking. In fact it would explain quite a lot.Nightmare Roy wrote: ↑04 Apr 2026, 12:33Shocking! Whatever happened to Rubio?
Nowadays, he's parading around in a pair of shoes like a kid playing dress up with their parent's clothes.

Orban is the literal model for what the heritage foundation are trying to achieve. Holding all of the machinery of both state and media in thrall to guarantee election success.
It appears that Orban is preparing to declare a state of emergency over a planned Ukranian insurgency - strange that they would time it to happen just before he is about to get defeated in an election, when they've had 5 years nearly do so.
I don't think Vance is doing him any favours either - I'd imagine his charming presence on the stage would be as welcome to the majority of Hungarians, as discoering during a piss, that you had one of those tiny parastic fish lodged in your urethra.
Re: The Turd In Chief Is At It Again!
Orban used to be anti Russia when he came up in Hungarian politics after the fall of the Soviet Union. He has since done a 180, a man after JD's heart no doubt.jamesmcdonnell wrote: ↑07 Apr 2026, 17:26Yeah, nothing says 'defenders of democracy' like backing Pro-PutinNightmare Roy wrote: ↑07 Apr 2026, 15:51 JD Vance is in Hungary supporting Oban's reelection bid, his slogan is, stay closer to Russia, but yeah Trump Trump isn't in the Kremlin's pocket whatsoever![]()
