The series will kick off July 4, DAZN announced. That means the Abdullah Mason-Joe Cordina fight in Cleveland will be the first DAZN fight on TNT in the U.S.

DAZN, WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY STRIKE DEAL FOR MONTHLY BOXING SERIES IN U.S.
Boxing has found a new linear television home in America.
Warner Bros. Discovery has struck a deal with DAZN to distribute a monthly boxing series on TNT Sports exclusively in the United States, it was announced Thursday.
“The Fight” will debut on July 4 in an event that is supposed to be headlined by WBO lightweight champion Abdullah Mason’s first title defense against Joe Cordina at Rocket Arena in Cleveland.
The show will be broadcast on TNT and DAZN platforms. Select events staged by Top Rank, Golden Boy, Matchroom and Queensberry will follow thereafter monthly.
The partnership will also feature co-produced studio programming. Additional live and shoulder programming, including press conferences and weigh-ins, will be presented by truTV. TNT will also tap into other WBD-owned entities Bleacher Report and House of Highlights to deliver additional content and original programming.
“DAZN has earned a strong reputation within the boxing community, and this will allow TNT Sports to be a player in this growing sport – expanding the reach of these events and the moments surrounding them – to an even broader audience,” TNT Sports chairman and CEO Luis Silberwasser said in a statement. “This builds on a successful production and commercial partnership … and further expands TNT Sports’ portfolio of year-round premium sports content.”
WBD and DAZN first kicked off their relationship last summer through soccer and the FIFA Club World Cup.
“DAZN’s partnership with TNT Sports is an important new chapter for boxing in the U.S.,” DAZN Group CEO Shay Segev said in a statement. “By bringing together two leaders in sports media and collaborating with the world’s top promoters, ‘The Fight’ will deliver unprecedented access to major fight nights to boxing fans nationwide. This collaboration creates attractive commercial opportunities. It reflects our innovative approach to distribution and our shared ambition to grow the sport by making the biggest events in boxing more accessible than ever before.”
WBD is the latest entity to present boxing to stateside audiences during a fast-evolving media rights landscape across the sport.
ESPN signed a multi-year deal with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions in March, while Zuffa Boxing kicked off its series of events in January on the Paramount+ streaming service.
Netflix also streams special boxing events on a regular basis to its global audience.

‘The Fight’ comes to TNT in Warner Brothers Discovery’s entry into boxing
The long-anticipated entry of Warner Brothers Discovery into boxing was confirmed Thursday when a new live monthly boxing series titled “The Fight” was pegged for TNT starting July 4.
Touted as an opportunity to stage “some of the biggest fights in boxing,” pulled from the DAZN network of alliances with promoters Top Rank, Matchroom, Golden Boy and Queensberry, the “new series of premium events” aims to expand “access for fans nationwide,” according to a prepared statement formally announcing the DAZN partnership.
“DAZN has earned a strong reputation within the boxing community, and this will allow TNT Sports to be a player in this growing sport – expanding the reach of these events and the moments surrounding them – to an even broader audience,” Luis Silberwasser, chairman/CEO of TNT Sports said in the statement. “This builds on a successful production and commercial partnership with DAZN to showcase the FIFA Club World Cup last summer and further expands TNT Sports’ portfolio of year-round premium sports content.”
The first event is slated to be new WBO lightweight titleholder Abdullah Mason’s first title defense in a Cleveland homecoming bout versus Wales’ No. 1 contender Joe Cordina, an official told Boxing Scene.
The remaining card is still being assembled, the official said.
A wealth of marquee bouts are at hand as DAZN has worked this year to both extend its deals with Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions and Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing while adding Bob Arum’s Top Rank and allegedly’s Quennsberry, promising up to 50 fight weekends per year.
Mason is a Top Rank fighter.

Select fight nights will be presented on TNT Sports’ US networks and streamed globally on DAZN, according to the statement. Expanded studio programming and a deep commentating roster will “elevate the events for fans.”
Bleacher Report and House of Highlights will add additional content and truTV will air shoulder programming including boxer feature pieces, weigh-ins, news conferences and more.

Crawford, Bradley, Porter on TNT Sports/DAZN broadcast team
TNT Sports and DAZN have revealed the broadcast team for "The Fight," a new monthly boxing series dually distributed by the cable network and sports streaming service.
Studio coverage will be anchored by TNT Sports veteran broadcaster Adam Lefkoe, while retired former world champions Terence Crawford, Tim Bradley Jr. and Shawn Porter will serve as analysts.
“Mama, I told you I got a job; TBC on TNT, work time,” Crawford quipped on social media. Porter said they’ve assembled “the bomb squad of boxing,” while Bradley added, “Let’s get to work.”
The broadcast booth will be manned by DAZN's traditional team of blow-by-blow commentator Todd Grisham and former world champion-turned-analyst Sergio Mora, with reporter Chris Mannix contributing as ringside and in-ring reporter, studio analyst and co-commentator.
The maiden voyage of "The Fight" is set for July 4, as WBO lightweight champion Abdullah Mason defends his title against Albert Bell at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland.
The event will air on both TNT and truTV in the United States and will be available to stream for DAZN subscribers beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
The second installment of "The Fight" is set for August 1 at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas, as Lamont Roach Jr. and William Zepeda square off for the vacant WBC lightweight title.
The partnership between DAZN and Warner Bros. Discovery is a boon for boxing because the sport is once again more accessible to fans across the United States.
ESPN is the only other American cable channel that presents boxing across its airwaves, courtesy of a deal it announced with Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions in March to primarily showcase women’s boxing.
