I’m sure plenty want to still see it
Who wants to see it, in terms of genuine boxing fans? Are you happy to see fans fleeced with a shit domestic fight?
Ofc not.

Plenty of genuine boxing fans want to see it still.

Casuals are the ones that will be fleeced.
Casuals aren't entertained by anything short of a slugfest or a quick KO usually. The subtleties of a tactical match are lost on them.

I want to see it. I'm about as hardcore a Boxing fan as there is.

Fighters not being in their absolute prime doesn't mean a fight is meaningless. It'll still be "THE BIGGEST FIGHT IN BRITISH BOXING HISTORY", and they won't just be saying that, it'll be true.
It's a meaningless fight, that will sell out Wembley Stadium, and means nothing.
Cool buddy. See it how you want. I'll be living in reality over here. :TU:

I haven't been scoring this because I knew going in that it was knockout or bust for Mak. Has he won more than 1 round on anyone's card?

Kinda settled into just a bit of a sparring match after about the 5th round or so. Mak hasn't really had any steam on his shots since then.

Mak getting rocked a little in the final minute. Overall decent performance from Fury here. Nothing earth shattering, but one of Boxing's stars is back and that's never a bad thing.

Perfect opponent back for Fury. Mak tried his best but just too limited and nowhere near fit enough, as is typical for most modern heavyweights.

gilgamesh wrote: 11 Apr 2026, 17:33 His only shot at Garcia is if he can make Garcia come up to 154, and even then he probably loses. If he fights Garcia at 147 he (Benn) is gonna be weight drained to go along with everything you just said and he's 100% gonna lose. At 154 he at least has a slight chance of being able to use size to his advantage.

I don't think he beats Ryan Garcia no, all I said is he's the only guy that I'd give him even a slight chance against. Him and Rolly Romero.

Any of the other World Champions Benn doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell against 'em.

The heavyweight scence sure is ghastly.

Let's hope the young bucks bring new life to it.

A little bit cheated that Fury didn't try hard enough to get the stoppage, but he's got in shape for AJ.
