With Fury calling him out so publicly. He now either fights the fight or is a coward. Smart publicity move by Fury to call him out the way he did.
Joshua was calling Fury out for years, do people think Fury is a coward for not accepting?
100% yes.
AJ offered a career high payday, 3/4 belts, and a home venue.
I’m sure you don’t really believe Fury is a coward But he certainly didn’t fancy the fight at the time. He ducked the Price fight even more blatantly, despite obviously being a better overall boxer and ultimately having the much better career.
They’re all cashing out now anyway, so doesn’t really matter anymore.

It does matter, both are not in their peak, in fact Joshua is shot. So even if they fight, there is nothing on the line and one is a shadow of their prime. The greatest all British HW fight that could have been made this century wasn't, and that matters
Fury looked good and comfortably won, and if the division was stronger, I would say he is finished at top level. But, the division is very weak at the moment.
There's only Usyk and Kabayel in it.
Fury could really have a decent final run against the Brits in the top ten. He has the easy beating of Riakporhe, Okolie, Dubois, Joshua and Fraudley (unless he gets caught since Fraudley at least can bang)

they can all bang in that list. I'd also add Itauma at this point if you're going to add Kabayel.

Joshua saying he's thd landlord not Fury, lol. I suppose he is still as he sells out fights at least. In reality he was stuffed by Dubois in his last fight but hey ho.
He hasn’t sold out for the years. For Makh like opposition in his return after Usyk 2 he couldn’t sellout The O2. Twice.
I wasn’t that impressed last night. He’s clearly slipped a lot, but I thought that after Usyk 2. Good in glimpses. Funnily enough I think Kabayel would be a good fight for him, he’s vastly overrated on here.
I have only watched the highlights but Fury looked like he showed a good chin as Makhmudov caught him a couple of times. So he hasn't turned old and chinny overnight.
Also, how was the Riakporhe/TKV fight going before the poor stoppage? If Riakporhe was dominating then that's not as bad but if TKV was doing well and was robbed again then that's wildly unlucky.

Riakporhe was landing some stiff jabs and getting the right hand through a few times but it was mainly TKV hugging him immediately and not letting go. near the end Riak starting pushing hugger off to try and let some more punches go, then hurled TKV to the canvas in frustration. Knocked TKV down after that who was up groggily at 8/9 and after that it was just a matter of time. I was glad it ended, honestly TKV was lucky the ref stopped it
Pretty forgettable fight, a glorified sparring session but Fury looked alright tbf, especially the later the fight went, his defence was sound, his legs looked good and he was able to switch effortlessly, Makhmudov is what he is, a basic plodder with no secrets, Fury was a bit rusty early on, his timing was off but by second half he was pinging Makhmudov's head with uppercuts, couldn't get the stoppage though
Fury v AJ is still a sell out fight. Apart from Wembley this could take place in Saudi, however I think it will be held in the UK if it comes off.
I would be a liar if I said I wouldn't watch it, I would also be a liar if I said I wouldn't consider getting a ticket for the fight.
I would be telling the truth if I said I was getting a ticket for the atmosphere rather than the relevance of the fight.
My conclusion is this fight if happens is a curiosity fight with Fury talking shit for 3 months on the build up, John Fury talking shit whilst roaming the woods drinking dandelion tea and eating wild foxes, calling out Carl Froch. It will be an entertaining evening to say the least.

Do you think Fury is lacking power? Kabayel and Vianello both stopped him.
