It is awful but no more so than Chisora v Wilder
The whole sport is awash with ageing fighters stealing a living fighting other has beens
Whyte's performance against Itauma was abysmal. Nobody knows if he can even stand up anymore it was that bad. I'm fact, he hasn't put in an actual good performance for 5 years. If he intends on facing someone worthwhile in the future, Joshua needs rounds not another cash grab.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑16 Mar 2026, 12:08It is awful but no more so than Chisora v Wilder

That Czech guy was surely a candidate for the worst technical ability / worst physique of any boxer on a major card.
It really is an interesting year of Heavyweight matchups so far. I figure Wilder vs Chisora will be a sloppy and entertaining mess of a fight while it lasts.Taansend wrote: ↑16 Mar 2026, 23:31 2026 will go down as one of the greatest years in the history of Heavyweight Boxing.
Wilder v Chisora - Battle of the Lunatics
Fury v Makhmudov - Battle of the Giants
Okolie v Yoka - The Hokey Cokey with Oki & Yoki.
Wardley v Dubois - Some kind of mishap.
Usyk v Verhoeven - Erm.... Pyramids & stuff.
Joshua v Whyte - The 1st fight happened the same year as Mayweather v Pacquiao so this HAS to be on that under card.
It will be interesting to see which style Fury uses/is forced to use.
I'd rather see him fight Jimmy White
Did AJ go to Usyk for advice? Or am I missing something here? Why else would Usyk be involved in the decision?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑24 Apr 2026, 06:47ANTHONY JOSHUA’S NEXT OPPONENT WILL BE CRITICISED…
Eddie Hearn confirms AJ won’t face Jarrell Miller next. Instead, a July warm up fight is planned with Hearn admitting Usyk was involved in the decision on opponent level.

I've been thinking about that this week. If my best mate died, I'd be devastated. If two died it would be a hell of a lot worse and if I was an eye witness, I'd never come back from that.mickey1975 wrote: ↑20 Feb 2026, 10:21Even I’ll let him off with this one, he got sparked out last time out and his two best mates died right next to him!
Mrs White from Cluedo would probably put up more resistance. She'd hide the Lead Piping down her trunks
He has been doing some training with himjoshj909 wrote: ↑25 Apr 2026, 05:16Did AJ go to Usyk for advice? Or am I missing something here? Why else would Usyk be involved in the decision?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑24 Apr 2026, 06:47ANTHONY JOSHUA’S NEXT OPPONENT WILL BE CRITICISED…
