He's hated by most because he's a horror at commentating. He's an egomaniac who is utter sh*te at commentating and just ruins fights with his BS. He's been doing this for DECADES and probably made millions off the misery he put people through. So yeah, f*ck him!!

I'm American, and I know it may not count for much on the British section of the forum, but I don't hate Adam Smith.

I do recognize all the cliches that he says that people point out about him, and I do think sometimes he just kinda gives bland not really paying attention, just saying the same 'ol lines type commentary, but I don't hate him.

That being said, Have I heard a lot of better commentators? Oh most definitely.

Hates a strong word. Many of us don’t even know him Personally. For me, he ruins a big fight feel. Even non-big fights.

He’ll repeat soo much of the same crap, nothing to do with the action in the ring.

I think a lot of the hate was that at sky he put himself in the commentary booth and refused to leave despite absolutely nobody liking him.
