So it recently came to my attention that Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani enter their bout both undefeated with 37 Championship wins between them.
27 for Inoue. 10 for Nakatani.
After a small amount of research it was discovered that the closest that could be found to something like this with 2 unbeatens was De La Hoya vs Trinidad who entered their fight with 35 Championship wins between them.
Can any Boxing historian confirm or deny this as a potential benchmark?

- All I know is this has a strong potential to be The Fight of the 2020s thanks to the warrior credo of Japanese boxers.
Both are 32-0 with Inoue 32 yrs old taking on the 28 yr old Nakatani. Humbled to be so honored.
