Pernell Whitaker's jab and speed would have made Wilfred Benitez uncomfortable. Benitez was better inside, but Whitaker was stronger. I would pick Sweet Pea by decision. Sweet Pea also took boxing much more seriously.

Usually in a battle of quick counter punchers the one that's gonna win is the one that forces the other to take the lead and get out of his game. I feel like it's going to be Benitez forced to take the lead more often than not in this match.

I'd give the slightest edge to Whitaker, but I expect a close bout where many of the rounds are only won by inches.
