This opener here with Takuma Inoue vs Kazuto Ioka should be solid as well. Ioka was one of the better smaller weight fighters of the last 10 or 15 years, and is definitely a big name in Japanese Boxing.

I can’t believe they’ve given us the cretin Smith in this fight, rather than Corey Feldman, the expert on Japanese boxing.

Has anyone got any feeds other than this moron commentating?

I personally did not see the 1st round that Adam Smith saw. To me Ioka got through most of the better power shots in the round while Inoue was landing his jab more consistently, but to me Ioka's clean right hands and body blows shade it, albeit in a close one.

1-0 Ioka

Now that round was clear as a bell for Inoue even before the knockdown. The knockdown obviously sealed it though.

Ioka down again from an uppercut in Round 3.

29-26 Inoue

Ioka is gonna have an uphill battle to even last the distance here it's looking like. Inoue has not only dropped him twice, but kept calm and composed, and saved his energy for later.

Inoue still in complete control the last few rounds, but no further knockdowns after 5.

Inoue is just too fast for him, and with Ioka being the smaller man on top of it he's not gonna have the punch to pull himself out of this hole I don't think.

59-53 Inoue

Ioka is gonna need one hell of a rally over the 2nd half to win this. I'm gonna lay out now until after the 9th.

Ioka answers back with a shot here and there, but he's getting beaten to the punch time and time again. Just not quick enough in there.

89-80 Inoue after 9

119-107 Takuma Inoue

No brainer on this one. The only question is whether or not you even give Ioka the 1st round. Otherwise than that is was all Inoue.

120-106 Inoue, never gave Ioka a round, he looked slow and sluggish, his punches lacked sharpness and he didn't look good physically, like he'd ate his way up to bantam, nothing wrong with his toughness and gameness though, especially after getting dropped twice early, Inoue caught him in the 2nd with an uppercut followed by a right that knocked him down, a right uppercut had him down again in the 3rd, give Ioka his due though he hung around and never stopped coming forward

Inoue looked great, his jab was immense, use it to bust Ioka up and set up the right hand, he looked sharp, his timing was excellent, dealt with anything Ioka threw at him comfortably, just done the basics to a tea, he doesn't have the power of Naoya clearly but that jab is a real weapon and his footwork was key too

DAZN’s build up to one of the biggest fights in the last few years consists of Smith ad-libbing a prolonged advert for upcoming fights from a studio in some uk industrial estate.

Really poor of them not to have boots on the ground for such an occasion
