Russian former world title challenger Kurbanov takes on China's Li this Saturday in Thailand on DAZN, should be early morning UK time
Never heard of 16-2 Li but Kurbanov been around the block, stopped in his title fight with Madrimov, had that controversial win over Liam Smith as well, also beat the likes of Teixeira, Soro and Diego Chaves

Re: Magomed Kurbanov vs Tonghui Li
With a solid track record but on the heels of a SD loss to highly-regarded Russian Pavel Sosulin, Kurbanov is definitely a known commodity, while Li is coming off an iffy SD win over tough Aussie Victor Nagbe. Incidentally, Sosulin stopped Nagbe in an IBA bout in March.

Re: Rakhman Babakishiev vs Khashaiar Ghassemi
I'm assuming Kurbanov and Li is off, Babakishiev vs Ghassemi now listed as main event on DAZN, card no listed on boxrec
Babakishiev is a 7-0 welter from Russia, I've seen Ghassemi before he was poor, from Iran, 17-7, 16 KOs mind

Babakishiev stops Ghassemi in the 7th, not overly impressed with him tbh doesn't look a puncher despite the stoppage and high KO% but he looks well schooled, puts shots together, a bit pitty patty, Ghassemi didn't land much overall but his punches landed were probably more eye-catching than Babakishiev's
It had routine distance win for Babakishiev written all over it but end of the 6th he caught Ghassemi with a left hook that stiffened his legs before he collapsed to the canvas, bell went but round 7 straight away Babakishiev put it on him and the towel came in, looked a bit premature if I'm honest, Ghassemi wasn't happy, not bowled over by Babakishiev but he got the KO
