F*ck me that was some win. Thought he’d let him off the hook, then bang lights out

Morrell turned up for a walk in the park, and ended up getting pulverised. Knocked out standing up.

Ref a bit slow there, like he wasn’t going to stop that until the man was completely unconscious

He gave him an extra 5 or 10 seconds of recovery time at the beginning of the round to have them wipe up the water in the corner so yeah he was trying to help Morrell there, but Morrell couldn't be helped there at the end.

Morrell started blinking a lot. Sometimes that hints at accumulated damage in the fight.

Yeah I thought he was gonna let him off even though his legs were gone…. But a big upset is always lifting. Well done Chelli

I honestly thought Morrell would be too sturdy to get stopped with a final round follow up attack.

But Chelli took his chance perfectly.

Wow! Put a bow on upset of the year and we’re not even in the second half of 2026. Morrell was as much as a -2500 favorite in some books. Was meant as a stay-busy fight after Callum Smith withdrew from his headline fight vs. Morrell last month. The only other man to defeat him: Benavidez.

There’s a genuine chance it’s C Smith vs Chelli for the vacant WBO later this year

A second earlier and the same people would be screaming “British” stoppage. Just enjoy the British upset win ffs….
