Well deserved win for Donovan. I'm off to bed, and hope I never see a German magician or opera singer again

Who on earth were those suited blokes in the ring chatting with the crowd?
Karen wasn’t very good was he… A blessed relief to have Barry Jones commentating with someone quite normal. Barry sounded relieved too…However, 1 o’clock in the morning boxing?… I couldn’t make it past round five I think.

The content on that show was the best advert for brexit I've ever seen: elderly death metal, cash for the crowd with magicians, opera, ugly presenters, long meaningless interludes and then the best fight on the card treated as a walkout bout after most people had gone home.
Donovan boxed a composed performance and was in control early with the two knockdowns (second one looked dodgy though) but Karen took over down the stretch.
After sitting through the earlier nonsense this was a tactical fight and a good deserved win for Donovan, who desperately needed a win so a fight in Germany was a gamble. Thankfully it paid off.

Despite the scores, it wasn’t close. They weren’t great shots that dropped him, either. Boots’ wins aged badly last night.

Picked up where I left off this morning, no way I could justify staying up for that.
Really pleased for Donovan, the Ukrainian was no joke in the endurance department.
Not sure Odiase is going too far. What’s going on with his weight as well, been all over the place in the past 12 months.

Had it 116-110 for Donovan, didn't look close enough to be a draw on 1 card even with the dodgy knockdown Donovan got in the 8th, it was a cagey affair, Chukhadzhian pressed but wasn't letting his hands go enough when in range and Donovan picked him off with the southpaw left to head and body whilst manoeuvering him around the ring, a lot of rounds decided on a handful of shots but it was clear they were Donovan's imo
He dropped Chukhadzhian in the 6th with the left, same shot rocked him at end of the 3rd, another knockdown called in the 8th but shouldn't have been scored, Donovan pushed Chukhadzhian down with the his right glove, after that Donovan was a mile ahead, I did have Chukhadzhian sweeping the last 3 as he began letting his hands go more but Donovan was so far ahead he got the deserved win, boxed a clever fight so he did

Watched it this morning as was knackered from travelling. I thought he won by 6. Really accomplished performance.
Felt sorry for Webb, brave to go over there against a big fave when Webb works full time, works with kids with disabilities, too fella, hope he got a nice lump for the fight.

Webb made sure he covered up as he went down so that he didn't take any punches. He barely got clipped before that but he knew where he was going. Getting up to just miss the 10 count was well done too. He picked up a purse and will take his chance to be brought in as cannon fodder for a paycheque again if possible.
