I can’t understand why this wouldn’t be a sellout. Surely there’s fvck all better to do in Doncaster on a Saturday night than attend a big sporting event? People need to get out of their houses for this.

The other big deal Uzbek just won on points. Looks classy and aggressive.

If the Mak fight hadn't taken place and Dave was still on a roll from the Fishers fights, I think it would be a sell out.Boxerbeetle wrote: ↑16 May 2026, 14:41 I can’t understand why this wouldn’t be a sellout. Let’s see if “No mercy” can back up his shenanigans.
That line earlier from O’Doherty was funny - “I’ve got three kids at home under 2, so I’m used to babies whining”.
Bet he’s been looking forward to unleashing that all week.

10k would be very impressive. This is Dave Allen in Doncaster. Crocker v Donovan 2 with the back story and world title in a fight city over twice as big a Donny got around 15. There wasn't 20k for Eubank v Watson 2 at White Heart lane. Stadiums are a tough sell. You've got to spend at least £200 for a reasonable view, it's an expensive night.

Hatim slipped a couple of times of the outer part of the ring canvas in the first round. Looks like he’s challenging for centre ring in the second, whether thats directly related or not.
Cracking little fight already.

Whoever wins this could face Visioli next. I had a few quid on Hatim at 21/10, his odds shortened all week.

Hatim has landed at least six low blows so far.
Re: Round-by-Round: Dave Allen vs. Filip Hrgovic - 16 May 2026
3 rounds done. Ref got little to do. O’Doherty and Hatim equally determined so far. O’Doherty having a tad more success.
Re: Round-by-Round: Dave Allen vs. Filip Hrgovic - 16 May 2026
Out of the two of them, Hatim seems likely to be the first to start fighting on instinct.
But it’s a hectic fight. Will be interesting the next few rounds.

Apparently 9-30 Allen fight. Well the football ground isn't even half full

O'Doherty by late stoppage?
Re: Round-by-Round: Dave Allen vs. Filip Hrgovic - 16 May 2026
O’Doherty bossing it pretty much all the way, setting a fierce pace. Would need to dramatically fall apart for Hatim to turn this around, doesn’t look likely at all.

Lovely little burst from O’Doherty at the end of the 11th, just to make a statement.
