It was disappointing.

I think everyone is missing the point when criticising the attendance and Allens performance. This was a Queensbury show to showcase Herg and build his name here to fight Itauma. Dave was the perfect opponent. He drives massive numbers on social media and was an easy win. It was never a Doncaster homecoming for Allen.

That was poor, he was outclassed from the start. I like Dave but he showed his limitations and has milked the honest nice guy, bloke next door, everyone’s mate routine now and probably wise to retire. I know he’s mentioned fighting for the British title but doesn’t Riakporhe hold that, that isn’t a great fight for Dave. Not sure where he goes from here.

First time I seen Allen was when he fought Dillian Whyte, and I remember being impressed in a (this lad could be decent) sort of way with some good coaching, like I'm not going to pretend it was close, but he made Whyte work and looked hard as nails and like he had an engine on him and if he moved his head and let his hands go a bit more he would cause people problems. This was peak whyte and he couldn't put a dent in Allen and seemed happy to hear final bell, even though before this is taken out of context it was a shut out. But Allen was a novice and I thought he could be decent

Was probably the best he ever looked 10yrs ago now, think Yoka did more damage than you'd think to him, his psyche maybe more than anything else.

Not sure, he was an eejit but did touch gloves out of respect in round 5 when Lee lost his gum shield and went to Lee and his corner afterwards with some decorum.

It was a homecoming though. Otherwise they could have had it in a better location. Or as a co-main to another bigger headliner.

The gulf in ability was hideous to witness

AJ's performance against Dubois was disastrous but Joshua still had a few fleeting moments of success...and the fight was worth watching from an entertainment perspective.

If you’re not interested in a certain fight or event that that’s on you. (Not you personally, but people in general). No one needs to engage where they don’t want to. I mean that’s an MMA fight, this is a boxing forum, so gonna get less interest in that regardless.
